  • Dynamic Movement Intervention

    Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) is a comprehensive intervention used by physical and occupational therapists to treat children with gross motor impairments.

  • Occupational Therapy

    Occupational Therapists assist children and families with participation in their daily activities such as dressing, eating, bathing, and play.

  • Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT)

    CIMT is an intervention that focuses on the involved upper extremity of a child. It is used to assist children with increasing fine motor skills and bilateral coordination.

My Journey from a Parent’s Perspective

My son was diagnosed with a genetic disorder at the age of 2. This rocked my world like nothing I ever expected. Being an Occupational Therapist only helped me navigate the world of parenting a child with a disability, it did not change the mental overload and endless drive for the best therapy. Throughout our journey we have encountered some pretty amazing people, therapists, doctors, and other children who have inspired us to continue to strive for the best outcomes possible. Now with my experience as not only a therapist but also as a parent, I want to share these resources with you.
